Terms & Conditions

By renting a vehicle from Beach Rentals you enter into a binding rental agreement. These terms apply to all rentals arranged by phone, WhatsApp, email or in person. The agreement is effective once availability has been confirmed and a deposit or full payment has been received.

All renters must hold a valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle category rented, satisfy the minimum age requirement shown on the vehicle listing, and present a valid passport or national identity card at the time of pickup. Beach Rentals reserves the right to refuse a rental if licence or identity documents cannot be verified.

Rentals are confirmed by WhatsApp or phone. A security deposit is required at pickup for all vehicles. Daily and weekly rates are as listed at the time of booking. Rates are quoted in euros and include basic third-party liability insurance. Payment is accepted in cash or by card at pickup.

A refundable security deposit is held at the start of every rental. The amount varies by vehicle and is shown on each vehicle listing. The deposit is returned in full at the end of the rental period provided the vehicle is returned on time, undamaged, with the agreed fuel level, and with no outstanding charges.

The rental period begins at the agreed pickup time and ends at the agreed return time. Late returns will be charged at the standard daily rate pro rata. Early returns do not entitle the renter to a refund of unused days unless agreed in advance.

Vehicles must be used responsibly and returned in the same condition as received. Renters are responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear, including tyre damage, bodywork scratches, and mechanical damage caused by misuse. Damage costs will be assessed against the security deposit. Any excess above the deposit remains the renter's liability.

Vehicles must not be: driven under the influence of alcohol or drugs; used for racing, rallying or any timed event; driven off sealed roads without prior agreement; operated by anyone not named in the rental agreement; used to carry more passengers than the stated seat count; taken outside Greece without written consent.

Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same fuel level. Fuel costs for vehicles returned below the agreed level will be deducted from the security deposit.

Basic third-party liability insurance is included with all rentals as required by Greek law. This does not cover damage to the rented vehicle itself, theft, personal injury to the renter, or loss of personal belongings. Comprehensive damage waiver options are available on request at the time of booking.

In the event of a breakdown, the renter must contact Beach Rentals immediately on the provided number. Do not attempt repairs. In the event of an accident, stop the vehicle, ensure safety, contact local authorities if required, and notify Beach Rentals as soon as possible. A full report must be provided to Beach Rentals within 24 hours of any incident.

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the pickup time will receive a full refund of any deposit paid. Cancellations within 48 hours may forfeit the deposit. Beach Rentals reserves the right to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances and will provide a full refund in such cases.

Beach Rentals is not liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from the use of rented vehicles beyond what is required by applicable Greek law. Renters use vehicles at their own risk and are responsible for compliance with all local traffic laws and regulations.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Hellenic Republic (Greece). Any disputes arising from a rental agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Corfu, Greece.
